The short version: Mindwhere doesn't collect your data. Your check-ins stay on your iPhone, and this website sets no cookies.
Who we are
Mindwhere is made by Nestor-Ivan Popko (“we”). You can reach us at [email protected].
What the app stores, and where
Mindwhere keeps the following in the app's private storage on your iPhone:
- the name you give it, used for your greeting;
- your ping window and the schedule of upcoming pings;
- your check-ins: when each ping arrived, when you answered, what you were doing and where your mind was;
- whether you have Premium, so the app opens with the right features.
What we collect
Nothing. The app doesn't send your data to us or to anyone else. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and no third-party code in the app collects data.
Pings are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone, so no server is involved.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Mindwhere Premium, Apple processes the payment. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details. The app checks whether you have an active subscription on your iPhone, using Apple's StoreKit.
Apple gives developers aggregated sales and subscription reports that don't identify you. If you start a free trial, the app schedules a reminder notification on your iPhone two days before it ends.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or to a computer, iOS may include Mindwhere's data in that backup. Those backups are handled by Apple, or stored on your computer, under their own terms.
Deleting your data
Use Erase all data in Mindwhere's Settings, or delete the app. Either removes everything Mindwhere stored on the phone.
This website
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Our hosting provider, Railway, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Children
Mindwhere isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
