Terms of Use

The short version: pings, check-ins and your last 7 days are free. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple, with a free trial you can cancel in Settings at least 24 hours before it ends.

Who we are

Mindwhere is made by Nestor-Ivan Popko (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the Mindwhere app and this website. By downloading or using Mindwhere, you agree to them. You can reach us at [email protected].

Your licence

Mindwhere is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”) together with these terms. If they conflict, the Standard EULA applies.

Mindwhere Premium

Trends over time, the month and all-time ranges, and the full breakdown by activity need a Mindwhere Premium subscription. Pings, check-ins and your last 7 days stay free.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Premium renews automatically at the end of each period (a year or a month) at the price shown in the app, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel Premium in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Prices can differ by country and can change. Apple tells you about a price increase before it applies to you, as its rules require.

Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Its length and the price that follows are shown before you start. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged. A free trial is available once per Apple Account, and any unused part of it ends if you buy a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Not medical advice

Mindwhere is a tool for self-reflection. It isn't a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you're worried about your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.

Your data

Your check-ins stay on your iPhone. The privacy policy explains what the app stores and why. Erasing your data or deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

Fair use

Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, or use it to break the law.

Our responsibility

We work to keep Mindwhere reliable, but it's provided “as is”: we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that every ping arrives on time (iOS settings such as Focus can hold them back). To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and, where it matters, tell you in the app. Using Mindwhere after a change means you accept the new terms.
